Chiquetha Blount is charged with Assault With A Deadly Weapon With Intent To Kill Or Inflict Serious Injury |

On August 21, 2011, the Beaufort County
received a report of an assault involving two victims that occurred at a night club on US Highway 17 South in Chocowinity, NC. The two victims were treated and released from the Beaufort Hospital for knife wounds. The Sheriff's Office began an investigation, collected evidence, and conducted interviews.
As a result of the investigation, Investigator Rob Voliva applied for and obtained warrants charging Chiquetha Blount, age 28, of Concord Drive in Greenville, NC with two(2) counts of Assault With A Deadly Weapon With Intent To Kill Or Inflict Serious Injury. On September 16, 2011, Chiquetha Blount was arrested by the Washington Police Department. Blount was brought before Magistrate Sadler, given a $10,000 secured bond, and confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center
