Cocaine Arrests |

On August 2, 2011, investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit arrested Chevon Rodman, 33 years of age, of 152 New Hope Rd. in Washington and Nicole Charmaine White, 32 years of age, of 152 New Hope Rd. in Washington. Their arrests stemmed from investigators' making undercover controlled purchases of cocaine from Rodman at their residence on New Hope Rd. Investigators conducted a search warrant at the residence and found 15 grams of cocaine, digital scales and $1,600. Both Rodman and White were arrested. Rodman was charged with three counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Maintaining a Dwelling to Facilitate Drug Activity and three counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Nicole White was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Maintain a Dwelling to Facilitate Drug Activity and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Rodman was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $20,000 secured bond. White was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond.
While conducting surveillance on the residence investigators conducted traffic stops on vehicles that left from Rodman and White's residence on New Hope Rd. K-9 Elza made a positive alert on one of the vehicles. Investigators searched the vehicle and located a quantity of cocaine. The driver of the vehicle, Robert Clyve Jackson, 44 years of age, of 2417 Gilead Shores Rd. in Blounts Creek and the passenger, Zachary Dewayne Robbins, 18 years of age, of 324 Mouth of the Creek Rd. in Blounts Creek were both arrested and charged with Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both Jackson and Robbins were confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $1,500 secured bond.
Investigators conducted a traffic stop on another vehicle after it left the residence on New Hope Rd. A passenger in the vehicle identified as James Earl Nicholson, 31 years of age, of 154 New Hope Rd. in Washington was found to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine and a quantity of marijuana, both packaged in plastic baggies. Nicholson was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Possession of Less than ½ Ounce of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Nicholson was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $7,500 secured bond.
