    (Washington, NC) - Judy Van Dorp, Manager of Lifestyles Medical Fitness Center, will be the guest speaker at the January 26th Diabetes Support Group meeting held at Chocowinity Family Care. The discussion will focus on diabetes and exercise.

    Tracey Respess, the Family Nurse Practitioner at Chocowinity Family and also a Certified Diabetes Educator coordinates the support group which meets monthly at Chocowinity Family Care on the last Wednesday of every month at 2:00.

    The support group is free and is open to anyone who has diabetes or is a caregiver for a person with diabetes. Chocowinity Family Care is located at 740 Bragaw Lane in Chocowinity. For more information call the practice at 946-9562.
