BCCC offering a beginner-level cake decorating class


    Do you wish that you could make sophisticated cakes and desserts? The Division of Continuing Education at Beaufort County Community College can give you the tools that you need to decorate cakes that will delight your family and friends.

    Beginning Cake Decorating will be offered from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Mondays, beginning Jan. 24 and ending March 7, in Room 830 of Building 8 on the BCCC campus. There will be no class on Monday, Feb. 14. The registration fee is $35.

    Instructor Maria Dickinson will teach students to make elegant borders using shells, rosettes and stars. Students will learn to create lovely flowers such as roses, rosebuds, sweet peas, pansies and much more.

    A supply list will be given to each student the first night of class

Please note that BCCC will be closed from Dec. 21 through Jan. 1.
